The Nukes

At Paihia School a band named the Nukes came to our School. They taught a few people from our school and some from Russell School how to play the Ukulele for an hour. After lunch we all went to the Whare and they played a few songs. What I really enjoyed was when we all jumped up and got to dance all together. What I learnt that you can get a electric Ukulele and they sound great. What I could do better next time is go more CRAZY and maybe could have signed up for it! Here's a photo.

Doubling and Halving.

Kia Ora. In Te Ngahere we have been learning about doubling and halving. We have created D.L.O’s of our maths, to show what we have learnt and how you can learn it yourself. What I really enjoyed was leaning the strategy in the first place. What I could do better next time is add another example of working it out with counters. Here is my D.L.O. Hope you like it.
