In Te Ngahere we have been learning about tessellation. Tessellation is an art using only one shape multiple times. I was learning to tessellate a plane with a random irregular quadrilateral and to explain how I did that. The shapes do not overlap or there are no gaps between the shapes. We made some shapes and created our own tessellation, We printed them and coloured than in. Then we made some digital copies with a irregular quadrilateral shape.
