On Tuesday the 31st Te Maunga drove down to Waitangi. We were doing waka ama. We learnt that you hold one hand on the handle and the other near the head. You have to it in front of you and paddle to the beat. We also learnt about parts of the Waka when everyone had a turn we put the waka on to it’s trailer and rolled it up to the grass. Lilli-Rose was the paddler of the day. did well at changing sides of where I paddle. Next time I am going to paddle to the beat because I was a little bit too fast.
